International Society for Environmentally Acquired Illness (ISEAI) Launches New Website

The International Society for Environmentally Acquired Illness (ISEAI) is a new non-profit medical society that aims to raise awareness of the environmental causes of inflammatory illnesses and and to support the recovery of individuals affected by these illnesses through the integration of clinical practice, education, and research.

The organization has just launched a new website, and a number of associated practitioners have been speaking at various conferences about the topic of illnesses acquired as a result of mold exposures and other environmental exposures.

The current board members consist of Sonia Rapaport, M.D. (President); Mary Ackerley, M.D. (Vice President); Margaret DiTulio, APRN (Secretary); and Keith Berndtson, M.D. (Treasurer).

Additional “at large” board members are Jill Carnahan, M.D.; Sandeep Gupta, M.D.; Lori Allen, RPh; Neil Nathan, M.D.; and Lauren Tessier, N.D.

Memberships in the organization are available to medical professionals, researchers, students, indoor environmental professionals, and members of the general public.
